Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about pricing, privacy, supported formats and language support.
Is it really free? Will I have to pay after a few conversions?
It's completely free, with no limit on the number of conversions. We cover server costs with on-page ads instead of charging users — this is a permanent design decision, not a limited-time offer.
Do converted files have a watermark?
No. However many files you convert, the output is never watermarked.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Just open the page and upload a file — no personal information is collected.
How long are my files kept? Can anyone else see them?
Files are used only to complete your conversion, kept temporarily on the server so you can download the result, then automatically deleted. They are never reviewed manually or shared with third parties.
What file formats are supported?
Input: .md and .markdown files. Output: Word (.docx), PDF, or HTML — you choose the format before uploading.
Can I convert multiple files at once?
Yes, batch upload is supported — up to 20 files per batch, each converted independently.
What Markdown features are supported?
Headings, tables, code blocks with syntax highlighting, blockquotes, nested lists, bold/italic/links, inline math and display math formulas, footnotes, and automatically generated tables of contents.
Does it support languages other than English?
Yes — Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Hindi, Marathi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Russian, French, Spanish and Vietnamese are tested and confirmed to render correctly in PDF output, with the right font chosen automatically based on your document's content. Right-to-left scripts like Arabic and Urdu are not supported yet for document conversion — we'd rather tell you that upfront than have you find out the hard way.
How long does a conversion take?
Markdown-to-document conversion is fast — typically a few seconds, even for longer documents with tables and formulas.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes, the page is responsive and works in any mobile browser — no app required.
Can I customize the PDF styling (fonts, margins)?
Not yet — the current PDF template (Noto Sans fonts, 1-inch margins, auto-generated table of contents) is a fixed default. Custom styling is planned for a future update.
